Dompet Dhuafa Launched Healthy Canteen of Madina Zone
BOGOR – Sunday (15/4) Dompet Dhuafa collaborated with Hypermart inaugurated the program of Healthy Canteen in Madina Zone. The event which took place in the court of Healthy Homes Integrated (RST), Jl. Parung-Bogor Raya km. 42 of Jampang Village Parung-Bogor was opened with a performance of martial arts of silat team Satria Muda from the Village of Jampang Bogor.
The formation of Healthy Canteen Madina zone was intended to be a model for the economic cultivation of small traders in order not to damage the environment such as the use of road agencies are in fact used for the public. “What we create is a model that is expected in the future many more institutions will imitate such program like this,” said President Director of Dompet Dhuafa, Ismail A. Said in his speech.
For the present Madina Zone Healthy Canteen run by 12 partner-traders that trained by The Independent Community of Dompet Dhuafa, they were the chosen people who have previously qualified and professional selection in each menu that were practiced.
On the occasion of these traders also said the partnership oath in the presence of invited guests who coincidentally present. Healthy Canteen of Madina zone then officially opened symbolically with a ribbon cutting and embedding a cap to the partners by the Board of Directors of Dompet Dhuafa and local officials.
Furthermore the merchant partners that trained by The Independent Community of Dompet Dhuafa have been given a motivation that supplied by The Director of Dompet Dhuafa Social Entrepreneurship Academy, Zainal Abidin. In this respect they were given tips and tricks to become successful entrepreneurs. Dwi, one of the satay trader of Madina Zone Healthy Canteen once said he was happy with this program. Because before entering being a partner members Dwi and her husband had suffered a collapse in business. “Thank God I am so happy because this program can help my family and our economy that is initially low-income,” said the mother of one child.
In addition to a healthy canteen, on the other corner of the committee also held a stall market for the activities and the people. At the end of the event the invited guests and participants were given free coupons for free food and drink in the canteen which was inaugurated recently. In the menu that can be found here there uduk rice, chicken soup, fried rice, satay, soup and other fruits.
