“Especially when starting a lot of minimarkets. First there are many who buy into my stall, but now is less, “said Sari.

The condition was assessed Sari strangle small traders. Won the competition with a mini trade along the same commodity is fairly difficult, if not impossible.

Sari own stall income dropped dramatically. Plus, since 2008 Sari left by her husband’s death. The husband is the main proponent of the family income working as a private driver.

“Earlier in the 90s Alhamdulillah she was in a good economic conditions. Our family could buy a black and white television. At that time, in the neighborhood, our new family can buy, “she recalled in a low voice.

Although merchandises began to recede, Sari will continue their efforts in order to continue living the stalls. Sari persistence bringing the Social Trust Fund (STF)Dompet Dhuafa.

Through STF Dompet Dhuafa, Sari obtained capital loan amounting to 750.000. Mid-2012, Saids Sari, she informed the local RW. Without much thought, she decided to apply for aid capital.

“Thank God, now I’ve entered into a second loan of 1,000,000. Each week I pay the installments Rp41.500, but I pay like Rp 45,000. It is for charity, “said Sari that close down every recitation near her home on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 13.00 to 15.00.

The STF loan capital she used to meet stock merchandises. No doubt, Sari stall looks crowded with a variety of merchandise such as snacks, drinks, and a variety of day-to-day basic needs.

“The day I can probably grossed highest reached 300 thousand. That’s’ name trade, most of the screened again for capital and so on like that, “she explained.

Despite being a small trader, Sari has hopes to be able to perform Umrah to the Holy Land. To make it happen, she had opened a savings account for Umrah.

“Thank God, although not much is up to 5 million rupiahs now. May Allah ease my pace, “she hoped.

STF capital loan assistance received, Sari expressing their gratitude to donors Dompet Dhuafa. She hopes more STF program helps small traders like her to survive in the trade in Indonesia is not this easy.

Developed to contract-based charity fund (Qardhul Hasan), STF Dompet Dhuafa provide loan capital to ease poor people to build micro-enterprises. Loan funds are returned without any interest. Refund, the exact amount of the loan. (Gie)

In addition, it is expected that people understand and independently about what steps should be done when a state disaster emergency response.

“The main problem in this Cililin is that contour area is very prone to landslides, It seems, that for this region needs long-term solutions and short-term. For the long term is the relocation, “said Rahadiansyah

However, according to him, not easy to relocate residents. On the other hand, this solution is not the area of DMC Dompet Dhuafa.

He said, in fact it will provide outreach to area residents prone to natural disasters. Communities prepare and respond swiftly to disasters through training.

“Today, not only dropped when a disaster or emergency. Another thing we do is preventive action so that when a disaster occurs, the impact can be minimized, “he added. (Sgt / gie)

Clock showed 16:06 when Sutirah figures serve its last customers. The beef Soto that she packs with plastic. Finally, she binds the The beef soto wrapped with rubber then put in black plastic bags.

“Thank God this day my selling runs out. It was hard looking for meat in langseng, but I was grateful is still there, “said Sutirah.

58-year-old woman was one of the traders in Madina Zone Healthy Canteen Dompet Dhuafa, Parung, Bogor. It’s been almost a year she was traded along with ten other traders in the cafeteria located in the south of the hospital Rumah Sehat Terpadu (RST) Dompet Dhuafa.

“In the cafeteria I sell chicken soto and beef soto. I was selling soup for gastronomy, “said Sutirah.

Initially, Sutirah is the staple food merchants and craftsmen doormat. But in fact, that she wrestled business is not growing, instead it can be said losers.

Sutirah uncertain business conditions did not last long. Mid-2011, Sutirah know Masyarakat Mandiri (MM), the economic networks that established by Dompet Dhuafa merchants to build self-reliance of poor layers.

“I was invited to a friend. He said could be a loan for working capital. I adherents same friends, “she recalled.

After going through various processes such as survey MM, Sutirah was accepted as beneficiaries. Help a capital of one million rupiahs to be the beginning of the benefits she received.

The capital assistance it paid off for 32 weeks. She paid her installment once a week without any interest. Thanks to repay the initial grant, Sutirah was entitled to a second loan of 1.2 million rupiahs.

“From the second relief, I was directed to fill one of the carts on the Healthy Canteen Zone Madina. MM reasonable to choose me because I have the ability to cook, “said Sutirah who is also member of the RST.

However, Sutirah must perform a series of tests. “Previously tested first. Tested. If it is tasty, it will be continue further, “she said.

Selling beef and chicken soto at Healthy Canteen Zone Madina became the main source of family income. Her husband who now do not work the cause. Sutirah was transformed into the backbone of the family.

After illness and surgery, Sutirah husband is no longer working. Although her husband is now fully recovered, but no one wants to hire him again.

“They are afraid it if you’ve been sick person let alone surgery. There’s nothing like to ask him again, “she explained.

Became one of the beneficiaries MM Dompet Dhuafa bit much to change the condition of the family. Borrowing money from mobile banks that had she done now she’d never live again.

“I was really grateful hopefully not to go bankrupt. Let those who give sustenance also help smoothly continue. Let help people like me, “she concluded. (Gie)
