CIANJUR, WEST JAVA — Abede Berbagi, Rombongan Orang Senang, the.custom and Disaster Management Center (DMC) Dompet Dhuafa held a Ceria Post located at the refuge camp in Tanjakan Village, Padaluyu Village, Cugenang District, on Tuesday (29/11/2022).
Haryo Mojopahit as the Chief Executive of DMC Dompet Dhuafa said that the excitement had subsided after the earthquake that hit the Cianjur area last Monday (21/11/2022). They all panicked. The children cried, while the parents were busy rescuing their children. On that basis, the three parties above held a Ceria Post.
“We are greatly helped by the presence of fellow donors and partners who are involved in providing fulfillment of needs that are not only basic needs but also psychic needs that both are equally important. Based on that basis, I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the assistance provided by fellow donors and partners involved,” explained Haryo.
Through the Ceria Post, the children and other survivors participated in fun games, singing and chanting salawat. Besides, the addition of the Public Kitchen was also able to color the joy that was present at the refuge camp.
Together with the line-up such as Ipank Horehore, Sanju Al Minakbawi, Lutfi Rustian, M. Yusuf Al Lampungi, and Ahmad Widani, Dompet Dhuafa was able to revive the witty smiles that had disappeared from the tiny faces of the children.
“Because the children really have to be encouraged again so that they are motivated to continue learning and it can make everyone excited. Hopefully this activity is useful and it can bring blessings to many people,” said Ipank.
Survivors also found it helpful with a variety of warm dishes that could fill the stomach and ease thirst. Approximately 120 people enlivened the Ceria Post and the Public Kitchen. They were children, teenagers, adults, women, and men participated in the crowd of the event.
“Providing entertainment, support, and encouragement for all of our friends, as well as our brothers and sisters here. And alhamdulillaah the activities here are very cool, very joyful. Alhamdulillaah we are here to entertain, and alhamdulillaah all the people here are entertained. Insha Allah, what we give to our friends and brothers becomes a charity for all of us,” explained M. Yusuf Al Lampungi, one of the influencers who also entertained.
