MOJOKERTO, EAST JAVA — The Baitul Mal Foundation (YBM) BRILiaN RO Surabaya together with Dompet Dhuafa East Java, alhamdulillah, inaugurated the BRILiaN FARM Livestock and Edutourism Center program in Padusan Village, Pacet District, Mojokerto, Wednesday (28/12/2022). The collaboration program is an effort to empower the community by strengthening local potential in local villages.
The Head of Padusan Village, Iriani Muarifah, welcomed the program’s presence in her government area. She expressed her gratitude for the presence of Dompet Dhuafa and YBM BRILiaN in Padusan Village.
“The Livestock Center and Eduwisata program in our village is a blessing for us and the Padusan community. As a representative of the government, I hope that this program can be a medium for strengthening the economy of our community and strengthen myself even more, that Padusan is a tourism-based village with local potentials that characterize our identity,” said Iriani.
Meanwhile, Udhi Tri Kurniawan, General Manager of Economic Development and Empowerment of Dompet Dhuafa, said that Dompet Dhuafa would strive to present more empowerment programs based on tourism programs in several villages that have the potential as tourism villages with their respective local wisdom.
At this very solemn event, the YBM BRILiaN Coach was very happy and said, “This collaboration program with Dompet Dhuafa East Java is a form of our responsibility to be present in the community by providing program assistance with the hope that it can continue to run and be able to have an impact on the surrounding community. In the future, this program is expected to be a place for the presence of other social programs that can prosper the people of Padusan Village and its surroundings”.
As the person in charge of the event and the implementer of BRILiaN FARM Mojokerto, Kholid Abdillah, Head of Dompet Dhuafa East Java added, “In addition to inaugurating, at these launching events collaborators of kindness (YBM BRILiaN and DD Jatim) also distributed the mandate of necessities, the Quran and compensation to the orphans of Padusan Village, so that hopefully it would be a benefit for them”.
