CIANJUR, WEST JAVA — Meanwhile, on Thursday (15/6/2023), the Care Visit was continued by visiting the Rice Processing Economic Center in Gapoktan, Al Ikhwan, to see the process of farmer partnership cooperation, then processed into a form of field product, namely rice which will later be marketed with Dompet Dhuafa to beneficiaries.
There are also other local activities, such as making salted eggs, plowing fields, planting rice (in Javanese, it is called “nandur“), and bathing sheep (domba). Enthusiasm and joy radiated from the faces of the donors, in addition to seeing firsthand the economic empowerment program there, they also felt and were directly involved in the daily activities of the farmers.

“This Care Visit program is exciting. On the first day, we were invited to explore the livestock shed, both core and plasma. In addition, we are invited to directly feel how we weigh goats, touch the goats in the core pen, and see the process of slaughtering goats. Well, no less interesting, on the second day we were invited to enjoy the atmosphere of Cibeber Village. We are invited to experience plowing fields with buffaloes, planting rice, and bathing goats. Anyway, it’s so exciting!!” said Iin Dinariah, one of the Care Visit participants.
