SUKABUMI — Dompet Dhuafa’s Disaster Management Center (DMC) echoes the spirit of Mangrove Conservation in the “Indofest Suddenly Camping” event at Javana Spa Camping Ground, Cidahu, Sukabumi. The event lasts two days, from Saturday (5/8/2023) to Sunday (6/8/2023).
Indofest has become the largest exhibition in Southeast Asia with the jargon “Lebaran Anak Outdoor.” With this jargon, the idea came to make an activity called “Indofest Suddenly Kemping” as a yearly routine agenda.
Eva Fitri Yeni as Project Director of Indofest, said, “Indofest Mendadak Kemping” is a camping event that brings together outdoor tourism enthusiasts with a variety of educational outdoor activities, such as educational and inspirational workshops, trekking, hiking, climbing, traditional games, and intimate music sessions, “she said.

“In this event, we also hold a charity auction in collaboration with DMC Dompet Dhuafa to help nature and environmental conservation activities,” he concluded.
This Mangrove Conservation Collaboration is a continued collaboration between DMC Dompet Dhuafa and Indofest which had previously intensified planting activities for 1000 mangrove seedlings in the Pantai Happy Village Area, Muara Gembong District, Bekasi Regency on Sunday (30/7/2023).

“DMC Dompet Dhuafa would like to thank Indofest and other outdoor friends in the charity auction movement held at the Indofest Suddenly Camping event. The donation will be allocated for the Mangrove Conservation Program in areas vulnerable to the threat of abrasion,” he continued.
In this Indofest Suddenly Camping activity, DMC Dompet Dhuafa also provides playground facilities that contain snakes and ladders games and disaster puzzles.
Snake and ladder playground facilities and disaster puzzles prepared by DMC Dompet Dhuafa are much liked by children who participate in Indofest Suddenly Camping activities.
“The existence of children’s playground facilities, such as snakes and ladders, disaster puzzles, and other activities, make children not saturated when in nature. Thanks to DMC Dompet Dhuafa and Indofest for holding this Indofest Suddenly Camping activity. In addition, to support medical safety, DMC Dompet Dhuafa also provides medical personnel during the Indofest Suddenly Kemping event.
