BOGOR, WEST JAVA – Dompet Dhuafa held a Ramadan Tarhib which became a forum for friendship and program coordination throughout the month of Ramadan 1446 H. On Thursday (6/2/2025), Dompet Dhuafa personnel including Program Management Partners (MPP) were present in the Zona Madina Mosque Hall area, Parung, Bogor.
Chairman of Ramadan 1446 H Dompet Dhuafa, Andriansyah, opened the event that morning with an invitation to all Dompet Dhuafa stakeholders to collaborate to provide the best energy in the month of Ramadan, which is 23 days away.
Last year’s Ramadan, Dompet Dhuafa reached Rp124 billion with 72,056 donors. Meanwhile, Andri continued, the target for Ramadan 1446 H is IDR 141.8 billion with 85,178 donors and 500,000 beneficiaries. The target increase is 14 percent.

Andri also divulged a new program that is targeted to excel. It is the SEKAR (Cemetery Cleanliness Awareness) Program, which will be held throughout Ramadan 1446 H. This program targets more than 20 cemetery points for cleaning, distributing flowers and prayer books. Cemetery visits are a unique culture of the Indonesian people and must be preserved.
Not only that, Andri continued, the Da’wah Across Borders Program, Ramadan in Palestine, Glorifying Orphans, SEKAR, Family Friendly Mudik Post, and Blessing Market, will also color the holy month of Ramadan 1446 AH.
“Hopefully, we can put our best minds into creating good and impactful programs. Lastly, it’s not about numbers, but broad benefits for the ummah. This year’s Ramadan theme is: Give Zakat, It’s Cool with No Medicine!” said Andri.

Chairman of the Dompet Dhuafa Republika Foundation (YDDR), Ahmad Juwani, added several points that must be the focus of Dompet Dhuafa personnel. Namely increasing responsiveness to serve people in need.
Furthermore, programs must focus on SDGs or Sustainable Development goals to improve the welfare of the Indonesian people. Finally, Juwaini continued, integrity must be strengthened, considering that program management is increasing every year.
“Ramadan is a month where we receive a greater mandate than other months. Let us build sustainability in our program. Build cultural transformation and increase integrity,” said Juwaini.

This morning’s event received a warm response from the Initiator and Chairman of the Dompet Dhuafa Board of Trustees, Parni Hadi. According to him, Dompet Dhuafa’s people showed extraordinary development. He emphasized that a creative, innovative, productive, solutive, and competitive attitude grows in every Dompet Dhuafa stakeholder.
“I am very happy with today’s theme. Please show your creativity, don’t forget to behave. Let’s welcome Ramadan with S2: Smile and Patience. Dompet Dhuafa is here to serve the community,” exclaimed Parni Hadi, who was greeted with boisterous applause from Dompet Dhuafa employees.

Dompet Dhuafa welcomes Ramadan 1446 H by holding various competitions that can be followed by Dompet Dhuafa personnel and families which are included in a series of events Welcoming Ramadan 1446 H. The competitions include Quiz on the Qur’an, Echo Mars Dompet Dhuafa, Musabaqoh Tilawatil Qur’an, Fun Cooking, Little Friends Preach, and Children’s Color Creations.
At the peak of Welcoming Ramadan 1446 H, Dompet Dhuafa announced the winners of the competition which was attended by Dompet Dhuafa Central, Branch, and MPP personnel. The event was then closed with entertainment, and did not forget to deepen the knowledge with a study by Dai Cordofa, Dr. Idrianto Faishal. Followed by a photo with Parni Hadi and other Dompet Dhuafa staff.

The joy of Ramadan 1446 H did not stop here. Welcoming the upcoming Ramadan, Dompet Dhuafa also held the Dompet Dhuafa Ramadan Universe Festival: The Coolest Pledge is No Medicine! on Saturday (8/2/2025) at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Softball Field, Central Jakarta. (Dompet Dhuafa)
