Israeli Military Aggression Increases, Ambulance Dompet Dhuafa in Palestine Continues to Struggle to Save Victims

GAZA, PALESTINE — Gaza, Palestine is heating up again, Israeli attacks have once again devastated a number of areas in Gaza. Not only were buildings destroyed and devastated, but also 12 Palestinians, including a 5-year-old girl, were killed and at least 80 people were injured in an air strike by Israel. The Israeli aggression targeted a building containing Palestinian settlements.

The sound of whistling missiles and mortar fire continues to pound the Gaza Strip. From information from our partner Dompet Dhuafa on Saturday (06/08/2022), through the Kamal Adwan Hospital network, Dr. Mohammed Shabat said, “We were woken up last night, at 5 a.m., by the sound of missiles near where we live. Israeli forces attacked throughout Gaza, such as the first attack on Gaza City. Then there was a second attack on Dawrah Al Faluja, as well as another attack on the Beithanoun City border. However, access conditions are difficult to reach, impacting the evacuation of victims with makeshift vehicles. On the other hand, attacks also occurred in West Gaza, specifically in the city of Khanyunis”.

“Once again a humanitarian crisis has occurred in Gaza, Palestine. Israeli aggression that bombarded the Gaza Strip and its surroundings resulted in dozens of lives lost. Dompet Dhuafa, with its mission of peace and humanity in the world, is present with an ambulance unit to help the victims affected by Israeli military aggression today,” said Bambang Suherman, Director of Communications & Strategic Alliances for Dompet Dhuafa, in a written statement (Saturday, 06/08/2022).

“Hopefully, with the presence of the Dompet Dhuafa Ambulance, the results of the generosity of the donors can mobilize the victims to immediately get further medical treatment and save the victims from Israeli military aggression, especially the children who are victims of the attack,” added Bambang.
