SOUTH COAST, WEST SUMATERA — Praise God, the cattle from the Marapuyan Saiyo Livestock Village (Kater) program, run by Dompet Dhuafa Singgalang, have been sold for the sacrificial stock ordered by the sacrificers for 2022.
Until Sunday (7/8/2022), the Dompet Dhuafa Singgalang team visited Kater Marapuyan Saiyo in Nagari Ampuan Lumpo, Pesisir Selatan Regency. There, Dompet Dhuafa Singgalang visited and directly distributed the remaining operating income (SHU) of Rp58,571,429 (fifty-eight million, five hundred and seventy-one thousand, four hundred and twenty-nine rupiah) to members of Kater Marapuyan Saiyo.
“The members of Kampoeng Ternak were all smiles when the Dompet Dhuafa Singgalang team came and gave them the SHU directly today. Alhamdulillah, the results of the KolaborAksi of kindness which, God willing, will benefit donors, partner breeders, and beneficiaries,” said Hadi Bhandarian, Branch Manager of Dompet Dhuafa Singgalang.
He also said that zakat (alms) distributed through Dompet Dhuafa Singgalang can be more productive. With experience and enthusiasm for continuous innovation, the zakat managed will be implemented in various forms of economic programs, one of which is Kampoeng Ternak.
“Not only Kater, there is also one of the Dompet Dhuafa Singgalang programs, namely Desa Kopi in Solok Sirukam, Kampung Nila in Pauh Padang, DD Farm in Padang Pariaman, and various other superior programs with the mission of empowerment and providing a wide range of beneficial impacts,” concluded Hadi.
