PRABUMULIH, SOUTH SUMATRA —— The Al Quran Learning Center (RBA) of the Prabumulih Service Unit Office of Dompet Dhuafa South Sumatra held an Al Utsmani 2 (two) tahsin book exam for students in the Tahsin Guidance Class program on Tuesday (7/6/2022) at the Prabumulih Service Unit Office (KUL).
The students who took the exam had previously received guidance on the Tahsin 2 textbook material for approximately one month. The exam was also held as a form of evaluation of the learning outcomes that had taken place. The Tahsin book material has three levels that must be mastered gradually, therefore this exam is very important for the success of future learning.
After passing this exam, the students will be allowed to advance to the final level before taking the final exam and graduating. If the cohort successfully completes all stages, this will be the second cohort of the Tahsin Guidance Class program.

After completing this process, the students will continue their studies in Tahsin Book 3 (three), followed by a final exam and graduation ceremony for the second batch, which means they are ready to open Tahsin Class 3 (three),” said Umi Akoyama, program implementer at Dompet Dhuafa Sumsel Unit Prabumulih.
Umi further explained the sequence of events during the exam, which was solemnly followed by the RBA students.
“The exam process took place from 3:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in turns. All students waited for their turn in the waiting room and then went up to the exam room with three examiners,” she continued.
It should be noted that the RBA Prabumulih Service Unit program of Dompet Dhuafa Sumsel is one of the forms of distributing Zakat, Infak, Sedekah, and Wakaf (ZISWAF) funds in the field of da’wah in the city of Prabumulih, which is carried out for 3 (three) to 4 (four) months in one period.

The coaching process was conducted by three teachers: Ustdzah Lusi Agustina, S.Ag. Alhafizoh as the RBA coach and Ustdzah Salma Najibah S.Pd and Ustdzah Ella Puspita Sari as guidance teachers using the Al Utsmani method or curriculum based on the tahsin book written by Efendi Anwar, consisting of 3 (three) volumes.
The target beneficiaries are Muslim women, predominantly Quran teachers in the Prabumulih area and its surroundings. The requirements to join this Tahsin Guidance Class program are also quite simple: 1. Muslim women aged 17 to 35 years; 2. Fulfilling their obligations as Muslims; 3. Having the enthusiasm to learn and participate in the guidance program; and 4. Committing to completing the guidance program until the final stage. (Dompet Dhuafa / SumSel / Arlen)
