“More than 60 farmers have been empowered as beneficiaries,” said Yogi.

According to him, this is proof of blessing when zakat, infaq, alms, and waqf (Ziswaf) are managed professionally. Yogi Achmad emphasized that Desa Tani is one of Dompet Dhuafa’s masterpiece programs. Srikandi Tani is part of the Desa Tani Program. As the name suggests, Srikandi Tani is a program specifically for women who want to empower themselves through farming. Through this program, farmers will be provided with assistance from preparing the land to harvesting.

“Eleven female farmers have been empowered through this program. Today, there is one more, bringing the total to 12,” said Yogi.

The lucky woman who received this support is Ai Yeti Sumiati, also known as Mbak Joti. She is a strong mother who is raising her two children and one orphan. This time, Mbak Joti was entrusted with a greenhouse that will be planted with various types of vegetables.
