The Independence Institute Program Provides Skills & Independence Opportunities for 574 Beneficiaries from 16 Training Sessions Throughout 2025

JAKARTA —-— Behind every number, there are souls and faces struggling, families hoping, and futures being built. The year 2025 is proof that Dompet Dhuafa, through the Institute of Independence (IK), continues to strive to provide access to training, skills, and opportunities for independence for the wider community.

Through various training programs implemented, the 2025 data distribution shows that 574 beneficiaries have been empowered through 16 training programs designed to address the needs of the job market and business opportunities. With demographic statistics showing 63.2% male and 36.8% female participants, 6% or 37 people with disabilities were also included, giving them the same opportunity to learn, grow, and empower themselves.

The distribution of beneficiaries covers a wide area. Starting from the Karawaci Main Campus, this empowerment program continues to expand through a network of Satellite Campuses in various regions, from Bogor, Cilegon, Depok, Cirebon, Yogyakarta, Makassar, Jakarta, Semarang, Cianjur, to beneficiaries overseas, namely in Hong Kong.

Each point on the map not only shows a location, but also growing hope, the courage to rise up, and the belief that opportunities are always available for anyone who wants to try.

The bar chart shows the number of participants in each field. Here are some notable points:

  • Most Participants: Concentrated in the Haircutting department (71 people), followed by Air Conditioning Service (54 people) and Cleaning Service (65 people).
  • Fewest Participants: The Spa Therapist (2 people) and Caregiver (8 people) programs have the lowest number of participants.
  • Digital Fields: There is considerable interest in the digital sector, such as Digital Marketing (43 people) and Digital TikTok & Shopee (31 people).
