JAKARTA —-— During Ramadan 1443 (2022), beauty product brand Y.O.U Beauty collaborated with Dompet Dhuafa to launch a sharing campaign tagged #WouldYOULoveYou. Through this program, Y.O.U Beauty set aside a portion of every purchase of Y.O.U Beauty products as donations from customers to be distributed to social communities.
The donations were collected, and on Tuesday (May 17, 2022), through Google Meet, Y.O.U Beauty handed over the donations to Dompet Dhuafa as its partner in kindness. The donations from customers amounted to Rp50,000,000 (fifty million rupiah). Symbolically, the donation was handed over by Y.O.U Beauty’s PR & Marcomm Manager Nurul Fajrini to General Manager of Resource Mobilization Ahmad Faqih Syarafaddin. With the collection of these donations, both parties aim to fulfill the customers’ desire to care for and love others, in addition to loving themselves.

Nurul, representing Y.O.U Beauty Brand Director Anastasya Christine (Ayu), hopes that the donation to Dompet Dhuafa does not mark the end of the collaboration. Rather, it is a sign of Y.O.U Beauty’s commitment to continue collaborating on other good causes.
“Alhamdulillah, this collaboration has been running well and smoothly since the beginning. On behalf of Ms. Ayu as Director of Y.O.U Beauty, I would like to express my gratitude for this collaboration. We hope to continue working together in the future. Insha Allah, there will be more opportunities for collaboration with Dompet Dhuafa. Hopefully, this can influence other brands and everyone else to participate in future charitable collaborations,” she said.
However, Y.O.U believes that no matter how large the profit or income obtained, it will still pale in comparison to the immense benefits of sharing with others.

In response to this successful collaboration, Faqih expressed his gratitude to Y.O.U Beauty and its customers for the trust they have placed in Dompet Dhuafa. He believes that this collaboration will spark interest from other parties to get involved.
“We certainly hope that this collaboration is the beginning of further collaborations. At Dompet Dhuafa, programs like this are one of our approaches to reaching out to young people. That is, by encouraging them to share their compassion with others. We ensure that 99.99 percent of the funds entrusted to us are distributed and benefit those who are truly entitled to them,” he said firmly.

Furthermore, to ensure that the donations reach their intended targets, they will be distributed in collaboration with Dompet Dhuafa’s program units, including education, health, social, economic, humanitarian, and religious outreach programs.
