JAKARTA —-— Ramadan is a time to perform acts of kindness and share happiness with others. One such act of kindness comes from an innovative social e-commerce platform that combines social media features with a shopping experience in a single app: PomoGo.
On Friday (February 27, 2026), in partnership with Dompet Dhuafa, this platform—which serves as both a marketplace and a hub for creativity—distributed 100 iftar meal packages ahead of sunset. They targeted online motorcycle taxi drivers, taxi drivers, and members of the general public passing by. The event, titled “Ramadan: Sharing Free Iftar Meals,” took place in the Kebon Jeruk area of West Jakarta.

Devi Claresta, Business Development & Partnership Manager at PomoGo, noted that this charitable collaboration with Dompet Dhuafa is not the first of its kind. Previously, the platform helped raise donations for flood victims in Sumatra. This initiative to distribute iftar meals is a continuation of the partnership and positive relationship established earlier.
Devi hopes that the iftar packages distributed by PomoGo can accompany the daily workers in the capital city as they break their fast. Although they are not yet able to provide iftar packages every day, the PomoGo representative wants everyone who is fasting to experience the joy of breaking the fast.
“The hope is that through this iftar sharing program, everyone can feel the blessings of breaking the fast,” she said.

On this occasion, Devi expressed her appreciation to Dompet Dhuafa for the collaboration and for serving as a facilitator in supporting the implementation of this act of kindness. She hopes that similar initiatives can be carried out in the future in various forms and reach even more beneficiaries.

In the same vein, Dian Sukma Riany, a representative of Dompet Dhuafa, expressed her deep appreciation for PomoGo’s initiative in organizing this iftar snack distribution event. Sukma hopes that PomoGo’s efforts will inspire many others to spread kindness.
“We deeply appreciate PomoGo’s initiative in this iftar snack distribution campaign. May this concrete step serve as an inspiration for many to continue spreading kindness to others,” said Sukma.

Furthermore, Sukma emphasized that collaboration between the business sector and social institutions like Dompet Dhuafa is crucial in expanding the reach of benefits to those in need. In her view, the compassion demonstrated by PomoGo is a tangible manifestation of corporate social responsibility that strengthens bonds of solidarity among people during the holy month.
Through this synergy, it is hoped that a culture of mutual assistance can continue to grow and become an integral part of the identity of digital entrepreneurs in Indonesia, so that the positive impact generated can be felt sustainably by the underprivileged and the wider community. (Dompet Dhuafa)
