Dompet Dhuafa and Audy Dental Help 154 SMART Ekselensia Students Return to Their Hometowns

BOGOR —-— Dompet Dhuafa, in collaboration with PT Audy Mandiri Indonesia (Audy Dental), is facilitating the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H Homecoming Program for 154 students at the SMART Ekselensia Indonesia boarding school. This program enables the students to return to their hometowns to celebrate Eid al-Fitr with their families.

“Alhamdulillah, SMART Ekselensia received funding from our donor (PT Audy Mandiri Indonesia) to fly all students to their respective hometowns. We deeply appreciate this very meaningful contribution,” said SMART Ekselensia Director Zayd Saifullah during the send-off ceremony for SMART Ekselensia students on Wednesday (March 11, 2026).

The students participating in this homecoming program are from grades 7 through 12. They will depart for 17 regions or provinces via airports, train stations, and bus terminals on March 12–13, 2026.

Before departure, the students first participated in a series of activities at the dormitory, starting with a retreat on March 9–10, 2026, and preparations for the homecoming on March 11, 2026. Meanwhile, the students’ return to the dormitory is scheduled for March 30, 2026, for 12th graders and April 2, 2026, for all students.

Muhammad Kamil Zaidan, a representative of Dompet Dhuafa’s Social Partnership Team, stated that the homecoming is an opportunity to reconnect with family.

“It also serves as a form of rejuvenation after the intellectual challenges of the past twelve months at the dormitory,” he explained.

Kamil also conveyed a message from Audy Dental to the students of SMART Ekselensia to prioritize safety throughout their journey.

In addition to being a moment of family togetherness, this homecoming program is also part of the organization’s commitment to the psychological well-being of students who have been pursuing their education in a boarding school system. The opportunity to return to their hometowns is considered crucial so that students can interact directly with their families, renew their spirits, and bring positive energy when they resume their studies at school.

This partnership between Dompet Dhuafa and PT Audy Mandiri Indonesia exemplifies the collaboration between philanthropy and the business sector in supporting the education of high-achieving children from various regions across Indonesia. This support is expected to facilitate the students’ homecoming journeys and strengthen the shared commitment to providing access to quality education for the younger generation.

“Thank you, Audy Mandiri Indonesia and Dompet Dhuafa—finally, I can go home and celebrate Eid with my family,” said Fawwaz Azzam Muhibbullah, one of the SMART Ekselensia students benefiting from the program, originally from Kupang. (Dompet Dhuafa)
