A Joyful Iftar with Orphans: SeaBank and Dompet Dhuafa Distribute Aid and School Kits

SOUTH TANGERANG —-— PT Bank SeaBank Indonesia (SeaBank), in collaboration with Dompet Dhuafa, distributed donations as part of the Ramadan 1447 H program to 200 orphans and underprivileged children at the Aria Putra Utama Foundation in Ciputat, South Tangerang City, on Monday (March 9, 2026).

The aid was distributed in the form of financial assistance for orphans and school supply kits, combined with a collective iftar (fast-breaking meal) event with the beneficiary children.

Separately, SeaBank Indonesia’s Deputy Director, Junedy Liu, stated that this activity is part of the implementation of the Ramadan Charity Program during the holy month of Ramadan.

“We deeply appreciate the compassion of our customers who have participated in this Ramadan donation program. Every contribution reflects the spirit of sharing that is growing within the community. For us, this initiative is also about building an ecosystem of kindness, where digital banking services can serve as a bridge for the community to share more easily,” explained Junedy.

Through a program titled “1 Donation, 2x Impact,” every donation made by a customer will be matched by SeaBank with an equal amount during the period from February 9 to March 30, 2026.

The donations collected will then be distributed through Dompet Dhuafa to support various social programs, including assistance for orphans during Ramadan.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of Dompet Dhuafa’s Ramadan 1447 H Committee, Sulis Tiqomah, expressed appreciation for the collaboration with SeaBank in launching this sharing program for orphans.
