JAKARTA – The holy month of Ramadan 1446 H is almost here. This time Dompet Dhuafa welcomes it with various activities, one of which is through the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025 at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. Together with sketch artist Agah Nugraha Muharam (@agahtheagah), Dompet Dhuafa echoed concern for humanitarian issues to visitors on Friday (2/21/2025).
Previously, Agah collaborated with Dompet Dhuafa at the Indonesia Humanitarian Summit (I-HitS) 2024. He happily said that this was the second time he had collaborated with Dompet Dhuafa.
“I will accompany Dompet Dhuafa in spreading kindness. The history of the Dompet Dhuafa Republika Foundation and its predecessors was very eye-opening for me. Especially the very transparent presentation of donation management at I-HitS 2024. I see Dompet Dhuafa as a trustworthy institution. It is also inclusive of all groups in the midst of the diversity of our nation. I salute it!” explained Agah.
With a unique concept, Agah invited visitors to make donations, after which he drew the donor’s face using a sketch medium. According to Agah, this can be a form of appreciation for donors who have helped others regardless of differences.
“Many visitors have donated. This facial sketch is like a gift from Dompet Dhuafa for anyone who has donated. It is also a lesson in sharing. Maybe in the long term it could lead to new collaborations with donors at the 2025 Indonesia International Motor Show,” he said enthusiastically.
One of the exhibitors at IIMS 2025, Steven Kencana, said he was interested when he first saw the uniqueness of the Dompet Dhuafa counter which provided a Face Sketch in Three Minutes session for a donation. For him, this moved him to bless others regardless of religion and race.
“I have been an exhibitor at IIMS for 9 years and this is the first time I have seen such a unique concept. It’s very creative and instantaneous. Just in 3 minutes! Dompet Dhuafa does not see the amount as big or small. This is a reminder for us to share with others. If possible, Dompet Dhuafa must be present at the upcoming IIMS,” he exclaimed.
In line with Steven, Angga, one of the visitors, expressed his admiration for Agah’s works. He also expressed his happiness after donating to Dompet Dhuafa.
“I am happy to be able to share. Moreover, I received a sketch of a face as a gift. I invite my friends to visit the Dompet Dhuafa booth at IIMS 2025,” he said.
The collaboration between Dompet Dhuafa and the 2025 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) took place during the exhibition, from Thursday (13/2/2025) to Sunday (23/2/2025) at the counter located in the Hall B2 corridor of the JIEXPO Kemayoran exhibition center.
