JAKARTA — People from various backgrounds, especially Muslims in Indonesia, welcome the holy month of Ramadan 1446 Hijri through various expressions and cultures. In this Ramadan, Dompet Dhuafa and young musician Dul Jaelani are collaborating and will be part of the Music Sharing Program and a variety of good activities.
Marked by the symbolic wearing of a humanitarian vest, this collaboration between Dompet Dhuafa and Dul Jaelani carries the theme “Honor the Orphan”, which originated from concern and aims to increase the invitation to the community of the importance of sharing happiness and blessings with others, especially orphans.

On Thursday (06/03/2025) afternoon, the musician whose full name is Abdul Qodir Jaelani announced his collaboration program with Dompet Dhuafa during the month of Ramadan 1446 H to the public at a press conference at the Sasana Budaya Hall, Philanthropy Building, South Jakarta.
For Dul, this is not just a collaboration. More than that, he believes that today’s agenda is an effort to foster love and compassion for one another. He said that the family in which he grew up always reminded him to do good. At the very least, Dul continued, it was accompanied by kindness or an environment full of blessings. “In my opinion, religion is caring. My mother always told me to keep doing good, if I can’t, at least be surrounded by a good and blessed environment. I see a lot of blessings at Dompet Dhuafa. When I am invited to do good, why not? Hopefully this collaboration can also spread the message of kindness to the public,” said Dul.
With the theme “Giving Zakat is the Coolest Thing Ever!”, Dompet Dhuafa will carry out a series of collaborations through the Glorify Orphans campaign. Dompet Dhuafa’s Education Program General Manager, Rina Fatimah, said that education is a basic right of every human being. Therefore, according to her, it is important to encourage orphans to continue their education.

Dompet Dhuafa itself has an educational program in the form of scholarships for orphans. In addition, Dompet Dhuafa also accepts outstanding orphans at schools managed by Dompet Dhuafa, namely SMART Ekselensia Bogor.
“To help them gain access to college, we also provide mentors and help the school to completion. We are serious about supporting orphans to get an education up to the highest level. Hopefully, with this collaboration, more orphans can benefit from Dompet Dhuafa, especially in terms of education,” explained Rina.

Also present to accompany Dul were the Secretary of the Dompet Dhuafa Management, Etika Setiawanti, and the 1446 H Ramadan Chairperson of Dompet Dhuafa, Andriansyah. In the press conference that day, Dul Jaelani and Dompet Dhuafa also distributed blessings in the form of donations to 15 orphans and then performed a song for them.
During Ramadan, Dompet Dhuafa will continue to intensify kindness, one of which is through the Honor Orphans campaign, said Ardiansyah as the Chairman of Ramadan 1446 H Dompet Dhuafa. In addition, continued Andri, several other programs include the Cross-Border Da’wah Program, Ramadan in Palestine, Family-Friendly Homecoming Post, and Blessing Market. Most recently, Andri also launched the SEKAR (Grave Cleanliness Awareness) program which targets 20 burial sites for grave cleaning during Ramadan.
“Hopefully we can put our best thinking forward. Launch the best and most impactful programs. Alhamdulillah, this year’s Ramadan we are collaborating with Dul Jaelani. With this collaboration, the hope is that more and more people will be moved to share blessings,” said Andri.

Not only that, Dul Jaelani will also be featured in various programs on the Dompet Dhuafa TV YouTube channel. In addition to episodes on Berbagi Musik, Dul Jaelani will also chat with Indra The Rain in the Humanitalk Podcast which will air in Ramadan 1446 H.
