BANDUNG, WEST JAVA – In the spirit of the holy month full of blessings, Dompet Dhuafa through its West Java branch has collaborated with PT PERSIB Bandung Bermartabat, which oversees the PERSIB Bandung soccer team. The two held a social activity themed KolaboraSIB Kebaikan (Collaborating for Goodness) at Graha PERSIB, Bandung, on Wednesday (2/26/2025).
At this KolaboraSIB Kebaikan event, the two parties presented a series of events ranging from a religious lecture by Ustaz Sofyan Yahya, a talk show with guest speaker Damar Pawitrasari, free health checks, to the delivery of donations to orphans and people with visual disabilities.
The KolaboraSIB Kebaikan activity was attended by the Commissioner of PT PERSIB Bandung Bermartabat, Kuswara S. Taryono; Iwan Hanafi; and representatives of the PERSIB Team, namely Assistant Goalkeeper Coach, I Made Wirawan and PERSIB players, Dedi Kusnandar and Febri Hariyadi.
“We appreciate the synergy between PERSIB and Dompet Dhuafa West Java. PERSIB doesn’t just play professional football, but is also active in various social activities like this,” Kuswara said in his speech.

In this activity, PERSIB is also in a period of mourning after the death of the father of one of its retainers, Rachmat Irianto, namely Bejo Sugiantoro, on Tuesday (2/25/2025). Regarding this incident, Kuswara asked for prayers from all parties for the late Bejo Sugiantoro.
“Please pray that PERSIB will become the League 1 Champion again, especially since they will be playing an away game in the near future. Hopefully they can get full points. We also hope for your prayers for the passing of Rachmat Irianto’s father. May the deceased’s Islamic faith be accepted by Allah SWT,” he said.
On the other hand, the Branch Manager of Dompet Dhuafa West Java, Yogi Achmad Fajar, enthusiastically welcomed the collaboration with PERSIB. On this occasion, his party also presented a Humanitarian Charter Award to PERSIB Bandung.
“Every time we collaborate with a corporate entity, we always give our appreciation as a form of hatur nuhun (thank you). They not only think about their business but also care about others,” said Yogi.

Furthermore, Yogi also hopes that these positive activities with PERSIB can spread to more than just one club. According to him, he is opening the door for collaboration with other corporate entities and brands. “Hopefully this will be an inspiration not only for football clubs, but also for companies or brands that there is a side to caring for social humanity that can be done together with partners like Dompet Dhuafa”.
“We also hope that this collaboration is not just for today. But it can also continue to take place whenever, not necessarily waiting for Ramadan. But it can also be established at various events to become partners in goodness,” hoped Yogi.
One of the beneficiaries of the Daarul Adzkar Orphanage, Fahrul, looked happy and delighted to receive a gift of school supplies from PERSIB, his favorite football club.
“I’m so happy to be here (to receive the gifts, ed.) and meet Persib players. I also had time to take a photo with A Febri Haryadi. Thank you PERSIB Bandung and Dompet Dhuafa!” said Fahrul.
In Ramadan 1446 H, Dompet Dhuafa collaborated with many parties and presented outstanding programs to help others in this blessed month.
