Impact of the Ban on the Distribution of Humanitarian Aid to Gaza, 90 Tons of Basic Goods and One Ambulance Enter Through Jordan

JORDAN – Dompet Dhuafa’s commitment to supporting the families of Israeli genocide victims continues to resonate to this day. Amidst the impact of the Israeli government’s ban on the distribution of humanitarian aid to Gaza, especially basic necessities such as water, food, and electricity, Dompet Dhuafa distributed it through Jordan.

On Wednesday (04/19/2025), humanitarian aid has landed in the Sukhna refugee tent area, Zarqa Province and Wehdad, Amman Province, Jordan. The refugee tent has become a temporary safe haven for Gazans fleeing their home country.

A total of 90 tons of wheat and other basic necessities have been distributed to Palestinian refugees in Jordan. The assistance will be the foundation for the sustainability of their daily lives in the refugee camp, especially during this month of Ramadan.

In addition, Dompet Dhuafa also distributed an ambulance in preparation for first aid for refugees from Gaza.

Dompet Dhuafa Volunteer Representative, Herman Budianto, was on site to distribute aid. According to his observations, the Gazans living in refugee tents are divided into groups with limited access, especially to primary items such as food.

“Here they find it difficult to get a decent job. They only rely on small businesses that stand independently and the help of donors. InshaAllah Dompet Dhuafa continues to move to help our brothers and sisters, the Palestinian people, especially in Gaza, Palestine. Also in the refugee camps of Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and other countries that are temporary homes for the Palestinian people,” said Herman

Thank you to the donors and collaborators of Dompet Dhuafa’s kindness. Even so, in a chaotic situation, the people of Gaza still have to continue to survive in the midst of long suffering.
