JAKARTA –— On Wednesday (11/19/2025), Dompet Dhuafa once again achieved a proud accomplishment. Based on the final assessment results by the Jury Board, the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (Ministry of PPN/Bappenas) announced that Dompet Dhuafa was selected to receive the second-best award in the Philanthropy category from the three best award recipients at the Indonesia’s SDGs Action Awards (SAA) 2025.

This award is the highest form of appreciation from the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas as the Coordinating Agency for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to stakeholders who have demonstrated the best performance in supporting the achievement of SDGs in Indonesia. Currently, the implementation of the Indonesia’s SDGs Action Awards 2025 has entered its fourth year.

Present and responding to this good news, the Deputy Chair of the Dompet Dhuafa Republika Foundation expressed his gratitude and optimism.

“Alhamdulillah, we are grateful that today Dompet Dhuafa has received a prestigious award, the SDGs Action Awards. This award from Bappenas is a recognition of the hard work of the entire Dompet Dhuafa family as well as the donors who have entrusted their funds to us,” said Herdiansah, after receiving the award directly at Bappenas.

At this event, Dompet Dhuafa received an award for its health pillar program, “Pos Gizi.” This program addresses issues related to health, food, and nutritional security, which are also national priorities.

Also present and giving a statement, Dompet Dhuafa’s General Manager of Health Programs, Dr. Yeni Purnamasari, said that the program we ran in the Indonesia’s SDGs SAA 2025 judging was the Pos Gizi program with a positive deviance approach.

“This program aims to improve the health of toddlers (children under five years of age), especially those who are malnourished, by providing them with three months of assistance. In the process, we provide ongoing assistance to encourage positive behavior in the community based on local food sources. So, balanced and good nutrition can be started and carried out with the resources available in each region or family,” she explained.
