JAKARTA —–— Various forms of assistance continue to flow into Sumatra, which has been hit by floods and landslides. This time, Dompet Dhuafa received a donation of Rp25 million from employees of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol & Anak Usaha (Insan Ancol) through the Baiturrahman Jaya Ancol Foundation. The handover of the donation took place at the Baiturrahman Foundation Secretariat, Ancol, North Jakarta, on Monday (12/29/2025).
The donation handover was attended by the Chairman of the Baiturrahman Jaya Ancol Foundation, Martua Hami Siregar, and his staff. Meanwhile, Dompet Dhuafa was represented by the Chairman of Ramadan 1447 H Dompet Dhuafa, Sulis Tiqomah, accompanied by the Partnership Team, Dian Sukma.
The donations were collected from the people of Ancol and the Baiturrahman Jaya Ancol Foundation. Through the donations channeled to Dompet Dhuafa, Martua Hami Siregar hopes that these donations will benefit the disaster survivors in Sumatra.
“We hope that our donations will be useful for our brothers and sisters affected by the disaster on the island of Sumatra, and will bring blessings to all of us. We also pray that our brothers and sisters in Sumatra will be given fortitude, patience, and hope,” said Martua.

He also explained the reason for choosing Dompet Dhuafa as a collaboration partner, namely because his party believes that Dompet Dhuafa has a strong commitment to helping and distributing donations to disaster survivors.
“This time, we are collaborating with Dompet Dhuafa because we believe in their dedication, transparency, and good reputation in distributing aid in disaster areas. We hope that Dompet Dhuafa can provide the best for our brothers and sisters who have been affected by this disaster,” he explained.


On the same occasion, Sulis Tiqomah expressed her gratitude to Insan Ancol and the Baiturrahman Jaya Ancol Foundation for collaborating with Dompet Dhuafa to help disaster survivors in Sumatra. She also said that the donations would be distributed through response and recovery programs.
“We are very grateful to Insan Ancol and the Baiturrahman Jaya Ancol Foundation. We will distribute the donations through various response and recovery programs, together with the funds that have been collected from other donors,” she said.
She also explained the various Dompet Dhuafa response programs that have been implemented, such as the provision of basic food supplies, medicines, milk for toddlers, and hygiene kits. Meanwhile, recovery programs include helping to rebuild damaged facilities and houses destroyed by floods, as well as restoring access by rebuilding damaged bridges.
“We have launched this recovery program to help Sumatra, which includes building temporary shelters (RUMTARA). We will also help rebuild damaged public facilities, madrasas, broken bridges, and much more. May these donations be a blessing and help our brothers and sisters affected by the floods,” he concluded.
