BOGOR —-— Dwiwarna High School (SMA) has demonstrated its commitment to supporting the recovery efforts of flood survivors in Sumatra through a fundraising campaign that will run from March to May 2026. The donations will be channeled through Dompet Dhuafa and allocated to various ongoing priority programs in the affected areas.
Dompet Dhuafa’s Fundraising Manager, Yudha Andilla, expressed his hope that this collaboration would proceed smoothly and have a positive impact on the survivors.
“Hopefully, this collaboration regarding the fundraising for Sumatra’s recovery will go well. We hope to collaborate further in the future and make a positive impact on the survivors and the wider community,” he said in his remarks at the “Gebyar Ramadan 1447 H: Seizing the Blessings of Lailatul Qadar” event on Wednesday (March 4, 2026) at the Hikmatul Ilmi Mosque in Parung, Bogor.

The Ramadan Celebration featured the preacher and influencer, Ustaz Muhammad Yusuf Al-Lampungi, who delivered a sermon on the importance of increasing acts of worship and doing good deeds to prepare for the Night of Power.
Before the sermon began, the school distributed gift packages and cash assistance to 125 orphans and underprivileged children from the school community and surrounding neighborhoods. Additionally, the school recognized students and teachers who successfully completed the recitation of the entire Quran before the end of Ramadan.
The series of activities was lively. After the sermon concluded, participants enjoyed light refreshments to break their fast, followed by a buffet-style meal.

Dikdik Ismail, the organizer of SMA Dwiwarna’s Ramadan Festival, hopes this collaboration will help ease the burden on communities affected by the disaster in Sumatra.
“The hope is that through this collaboration, we can help ease the burden on our brothers and sisters in Sumatra,” he said.
He also invited parents and all stakeholders to participate by giving their best donations.
“Come on, everyone, let’s give our best donations,” said Dikdik.
Although this is the first time collaborating with Dompet Dhuafa, Dikdik hopes the established relationship can continue, thereby facilitating the distribution of aid for future humanitarian programs.
“We from the Dwiwarna family hope we can help. Whatever the activity, insha’Allah we can collaborate,” he concluded.
Friends, Sumatra has not yet fully recovered. Many of our brothers and sisters are still struggling to rise from the impact of the disaster. Now is the time for us to take action; let’s strengthen the Recovery Sumatra Program with our best donations, because recovery requires real action, not just empathy.
Dwiwarna High School, together with Dompet Dhuafa, invites you to be part of this act of kindness. Together, let’s accelerate Sumatra’s recovery. Please channel your donations through: Sumatra Bangkit. (Dompet Dhuafa)
