After 2 Years of Hiatus, JAKHUMFEST #3 Presents a Different Presence at Pos Bloc Jakarta

Jakhumfest atau Jakarta Humanity Festival kembali dihelat Dompet Dhuafa di Pos Boc, Jakarta, pada 28-29 Januari 2023.

JAKARTA – The Covid-19 pandemic, which has spread since 2 (two) years ago, has paralyzed various aspects of life, such as the economy, education, and the entertainment world. Various activities are carried out online. People also seem to be confined to their homes and uncertainty. But this year 2023, will be the year of awakening in all aspects of society.

After going on hiatus during the pandemic, Jakarta Humanity Festival (Jakhumfest) presented by Dompet Dhuafa is back on Saturday & Sunday, January 28-29, 2023. Located at Pos Bloc, Pasar Baru, Central Jakarta, the third Jakhumfest is a medicine for people who long for togetherness and concern in entertainment events. Jakhumfest is a momentum activity for Humanesia 2023 with the title #IniTentangKita.

According to Dandy E. Fathoni as the Chairman of Jakhumfest #3, the Jakhumfest event at the Bloc Post this time will be different from the previous event. Still carrying out social, humanitarian, and environmental issues through various activities, there are workshops and performances by comedians SUCI X this time.

“Jakhumfest #3 presents a Photography Exhibition titled Local Heroes and an installation of works from plastic waste, and features musicians such as Mocca, Marginal, Chiki Fawzi, to The Rain. Well, this time, all the performers will also look different, how’s the show? You guys can be watched the show on January 29,” he said.

“Most recently, there have been hilarious actions by several Indonesian Comedians SUCI X such as Budi, Dwi, Kukuh, Irfan, guided by MC Ilham Setiadi and Syukron Jamal. In the same location, Jakhumfest also presented various workshops such as the Story Room with Rhaka Ghanisatria (Co-Founder of Being a Man), Annisa Steviani (Certified Financial Planner), Raden Prisya (Mindfulness & WellBeing Coach), Samsudin Ilyas (Founder of the Little Journalist Class), and Arif Rahmadi H (GM of the Strategic Alliance & Advocacy of Dompet Dhuafa), with the host, Aditya Saputra”.

The experimental activities in the Jakhumfest #3 series also have a Memorial Corner (preloved bazaar) which will be enlivened with several influencers and KOLs such as Aliyah Sayuti and others. There is also a workshop with Seratan Studio by inviting protesters to knit cloth-mediated works, sign language literacy with Silang ID, Story Corner with AkuTemanmu, Virtual Reality (VR) Disaster Simulation & Humanitarian Snakes and Ladders by DMC, Jakhumfest Listening Silent Room, Interactive Angklung, and other kindness challenges.

On the other hand, the opening ceremony will be attended by several Directors from Dompet Dhuafa as well as representatives from Pos Bloc and Pos Indonesia, followed by the inauguration of the Mobile Podcast Sightseeing to the performance of the Finalists of the Schoolunteer Contest Dompet Dhuafa Volunteer (DDV).
