BOGOR REGENCY — The collaboration between Dompet Dhuafa and a number of parties continues. During the Eid al-Adha 1443H, IndiHome once again partnered with Dompet Dhuafa to distribute qurbani meat. Through the spirit of sharing among its customers, IndiHome shared happiness with others through the Tebar Hewan Kurban (THK) program.
This spirit of sharing is embodied in the IndiHome Berbagi Kurban program. In this program, customers exchange points equivalent to 10,000 rupiah through myIndiHome. These points are then channeled into meat donations for our brothers and sisters in need. The program, which runs from June 22 to July 6, 2022, will target distribution in remote areas around Bogor City and Regency, Depok, and Tangerang.
The spirit of sharing kindness among indiHome customers resulted in the collection of 20 sheep/goats and two cows, which were slaughtered and converted into 480 packages of sacrificial meat. The main distribution targets for these meat packages were areas affected by landslides in Bogor Regency, specifically in Muara Village and Cipatat Village, Cibunian Village, Pamijahan District.
The distribution of meat donations brought joy to the beneficiary community. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the donors who brought them the blessing of meat donations. This happiness made the long journey of the distribution team worthwhile. Considering that the team had to travel for 4 hours from the slaughtering location to the distribution location. As Maghrib approached, the distribution team knocked on each of the houses of the landslide victims who had been relocated, in order to deliver the donations of IndiHome customers who had entrusted their meat donations through Dompet Dhuafa.
“Thank you for sharing meat with us. We are very happy that someone came here and cared for us. We hope that everyone who came and shared this meat will be even more successful,” said Nursih (60), one of the beneficiaries, after receiving a package of meat from the distribution team on Monday (July 11, 2022) evening.
In line with Nursih, Hadiwijaya, as the Head of RT 02/RW 01 Kampung Muara, Cibunian Village, also expressed his gratitude. He said, “On behalf of the residents here, I would like to thank Dompet Dhuafa and IndiHome. We are grateful to the Dompet Dhuafa and IndiHome teams for coming to our village. Everyone went through great effort to come here and distribute the sacrificial meat to us. We sincerely thank you; this is a great joy for us to receive this meat. We pray that the sacrificers, namely the IndiHome customers, may receive rewards and paradise from Allah SWT.
