JAKARTA – In the last week of Ramadan 1445 AH, Dompet Dhuafa continues to invite the public to maximize kindness while preparing for Eid al-Fitr. On Wednesday (3/4/2024), a talk show entitled “Easily Be Good Ahead of Eid Through the Dompet Dhuafa Application” was held at the Jakarta Eid Fair event at the Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO), Kemayoran, Jakarta. The talk show session opened with a Sufi dance performance.
The head of Ramadan 1445 H Dompet Dhuafa, Rina Fatimah, said that for almost a month now, Dompet Dhuafa has been a forum for community initiatives to do good deeds. Some of these include the Honor Orphans program, which involves breaking the fast and shopping with orphans; Al-Qur’an Braille Alms; Sharing Takjil; Free Homecoming; Tebar Zakat Fitrah (TZF); Ramadan Parcels for the poor and orphans, as well as sending fast food aid to our brothers and sisters in Palestine.
Until now, continued Rina, Dompet Dhuafa has carried out TZF at 18 points in Jabodetabek, Banten, East Java, Central Java, West Java to West Papua. The distribution of 36 thousand packages was carried out in stages.

“We (the 1445 H Ramadan committee Dompet Dhuafa) are still receiving zakat fitrah until the takbiran night. The collection (of zakat) will be until the takbiran night. We are ready to be your partners in spreading zakat fitrah,” he said.
Public figure Aiman Ricky expressed his utmost appreciation to Dompet Dhuafa for being a platform for him to do good deeds. According to Aiman, Dompet Dhuafa not only collects and distributes zakat, but also provides facilities that make it easier for Muslims to worship. One of them is by preparing the Dompet Dhuafa or DD Apps.
Aiman shared his experience using the features on DD Apps. He admitted that he had used the Alms feature, which makes it easy to give regular alms by setting a schedule and amount that he determines. In addition, he had also used the Zakat Calculator feature, so that he would know how much zakat he had to pay.

“I salute Dompet Dhuafa who are starting to be aware of the digital world, they are taking the initiative. In DD Apps there is a Tanya Ustaz (Ask the Preacher) feature for asking questions about zakat (almsgiving). I also use the Sedekah (Almsgiving) feature and the settings so that I don’t forget to give alms every dawn. After giving alms, there will be payment feedback via email,” explained Aiman.
In addition to digital, donating is also made easier with the Dompet Dhuafa donation service outlets that are scattered in many public places. At the end of the talk show, Rina Fatimah did not forget to convey the importance of social worship, which is sharing with others, in addition to worshiping Allah SWT.
