BALI —- Dompet Dhuafa, through its Disaster Management Center (DMC), has rolled out various forms of assistance in the form of public kitchen services, clean water distribution, and health services in response to the floods that have hit the Denpasar area of Bali.
From Tuesday (September 16, 2025) to Saturday (September 20, 2025), Dompet Dhuafa’s DMC Community Kitchen services were opened at two locations: in Kuana Sari Village, South Denpasar District, reaching 200 beneficiaries; and in Padangsambian, West Denpasar District, reaching 60 beneficiaries.

Taqi Falsafati, Emergency Response Staff at DMC Dompet Dhuafa, stated that the DMC Public Kitchen service was established to help meet the daily food logistics needs of Bali flood survivors.
“Currently, many residents in both locations have had their homes damaged by the floods, forcing them to seek refuge with relatives. The communities in both locations are in need of food supplies, which is why we have set up public kitchen services there,” said Taqi.

In addition, on Saturday (September 20, 2025), DMC also distributed 22,500 liters of clean water in Serangan, South Denpasar, which helped 1,000 beneficiaries. Previously, DMC’s clean water distribution service was open on Jalan Segina, Pemecutan Klod Village, West Denpasar District, reaching 100 beneficiaries.
Taqi added that the Clean Water Distribution service was provided to residents in need of clean water supply due to flooding.
“In many villages, people rely on PDAM water. Since the flood, the PDAM water supply has been cut off, so water cannot flow,” said Taqi.

As previously reported, floods inundated several areas in Bali from Wednesday (September 10, 2025) to Sunday (September 14, 2025). These floods caused damage to several residents’ homes and public facilities. To date, most of the flood-affected areas have receded, but cleanup efforts are still ongoing.
