SULAWESI TENGGARA — Ikatan Pegawai Bank Indonesia (IPEBI) Southeast Sulawesi collaborates with Dompet Dhuafa Sulawesi Tenggara (Sultra) to distribute donations in the form of zakat and infak. On Friday (15/04/2023), IPEBI Sultra representatives handed the donation directly to the Head of Dompet Dhuafa Sultra Branch, Hassan Afif.
Head of BI Representative of Ultra Province, Doni Septadijaya said that the zakat and infak funds were intended for residents in the Kendari area, Sultra who were in need.
“Alhamdulillah, we have successfully collected this donation from the mandate of the Bank Indonesia Employees Association or Ikatan Pegawai Bank Indonesia (IPEBI). From there, we can distribute the assistance, “said Doni.
On occasion, Doni also thanked Dompet Dhuafa Sultra for accompanying and assisting IPEBI in distributing aid.
“We would like to thank Dompet Dhuafa Sultra for helping distribute this aid to our needy brothers and sisters,” he said.
In line with this, the Head of Dompet Dhuafa Sultra Branch also expressed his gratitude for the trust the Bank Indonesia Employees Association gave to DD Sultra. In addition, Hassan also hopes that the kindness movement carried out by IPEBI Sultra can be an example for other companies.
“We hope that the mandate carried out by Bank Indonesia employees can be emulated by other companies in Southeast Sulawesi so that more people will be helped,” concluded Hassan.
The zakat distributed through Dompet Dhuafa Sultra will later be used for the Ethos ID Scholarship program and the Patient Halfway House. Meanwhile, donations in the form of infak will be distributed for the manufacture of boreholes and Eid Shopping with Orphans.
