Kantin Kontainer is an economic empowerment program that focuses on the culinary sector. This program empowers mustahik (beneficiaries-students) by providing business units in the form of modified containers that function as canteens or food stalls on campus.

Kantin Kontainer opens up opportunities for independent businesses, creates jobs, and increases the income of beneficiary families through a hygienic and modern culinary business.

Meanwhile, Pesantren Tahfizh Green Lido (PTGL), located in Sukabumi, West Java, is an educational institution and boarding school for tahfizh students (Quran memorizers) from poor families. This program offers full scholarships, including living and education expenses, for the students.

In addition to being character-building, excellent, and instilling leadership skills, PTGL also promotes a green or environmentally friendly concept, combining religious education with life skills, and encouraging student independence.

Dompet Dhuafa hopes that this achievement will inspire continued collaboration and make Zakat and Waqf vital instruments in poverty alleviation and community empowerment. (Dompet Dhuafa)
