NORTH SUMATRA — Dompet Dhuafa North Sumatra Branch (DD Waspada) received a social fund of IDR 47,821,250 from Sufina Aziz Hospital, on Friday (7/10/2022) at Sufina Hospital, Helvetia, Medan City, North Sumatra. The handover was carried out symbolically by Suprihatinningsih, Head of General Affairs and Finance of RSU Sufina Aziz, accompanied by Inna, Head of Nursing, which was received by Sulaiman, Head of the Dompet Dhuafa Waspada Branch.
Suprihatinningsih said that the social funds donation is RSU Sufina Aziz’s form of attention to social programs intended for the community. She fully believes in Dompet Dhuafa, that this Islamic philanthropic institution is able to distribute social funds properly and on target. She also hopes that the funds provided will bring benefits to the wider community. In addition, she also hopes that it can be useful for the community and this kind of synergy can continue.
“This year, our funds are quite large and channeled through DD Waspada in the hope that the funds can be used as they should be. DD Waspada as an Islamic philanthropic institution understands it better,” she said.
Responding to the receipt of these funds, Sulaiman said that the funds received would soon be allocated for the use of public facilities. He also said that Dompet Dhuafa will soon conduct a survey where there is an urgent need related to public facilities whose purpose is for the benefit of the community.
Sulaiman also expressed his highest gratitude to RSU Sufina Aziz for still trusting Dompet Dhuafa Waspada.
“Our sincere gratitude to RSU Sufina Aziz for still trusting us for various program management. Hopefully, this will be a motivation for others as well as how to continue to spread kindness,” hoped Sulaiman.
In addition to the handover of social funds, RSU Sufina Aziz has also routinely distributed zakat, infaq, and alms of its employees to Dompet Dhuafa Waspada.
