Ahmad Juwaini emphasized that Dompet Dhuafa remains committed to helping Palestine. Currently, the Dompet Dhuafa humanitarian team is in Jordan to help the survivors. In addition, Dompet Dhuafa also has four branches abroad, namely in Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, and the United States, which play a role in providing services to the Indonesian people and local communities in those countries.

“We are putting together a team from various institutions for aid efforts to Palestine. We are also encouraging meetings with 50 humanitarian agencies that focus on Palestine to build coordination and determine a master plan for the distribution of aid for Palestinian reconstruction,” said Ahmad Juwaini.

In addition to providing humanitarian assistance, Dompet Dhuafa also plans to build health and education facilities for Palestinians affected by the conflict. This is in line with Dompet Dhuafa’s vision of creating long-term solutions to help people in need.

Parni Hadi added that collaboration in humanitarian actions must be carried out with the principles of bil haqqi (with truth), bi shodri (with open-heartedness), and bil marhamah (with compassion). He emphasized that synergy between institutions and the government is essential to achieve maximum results in humanitarian efforts.

Anis Matta appreciates Dompet Dhuafa’s work in managing Ziswaf funds. He recalls how a wave of social piety began to strengthen in Indonesia in the 1980s and 1990s, of which Dompet Dhuafa was one of the main drivers.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently activating Indonesian humanitarian diplomacy, especially for Palestine. We want not only to collect donations to be sent abroad, but also to invite the world to contribute to helping Indonesia. Thus, the culture of sharing and donating is increasingly widespread at the global level,” said Anis Matta.

He also hopes that this initiative can support the construction of more hospitals like the Integrated Healthy House Hospital. The sustainability of waqf-based health programs is considered a very effective model for providing free services to people in need.

On this occasion, Dompet Dhuafa also made a symbolic donation to the Talenta Smile for Orphans Program as well as Orphan Compensation and Family Fighter THR. This program aims to provide support for orphans so that they can develop their potential to the maximum.

In addition, Dompet Dhuafa also received a donation from PT Tokio Marine Life Insurance Indonesia as a form of support for various social programs that are being carried out. Support from various parties, including the government, companies, and the general public, is proof that social awareness can be realized in various forms of real contributions.

The programs run by Dompet Dhuafa, both at home and abroad, are proof that Ziswaf funds can be optimally managed to create a sustainable social impact. With support from various parties, Dompet Dhuafa continues to strive to expand the reach of its empowerment programs. The hope is that the more people who are helped, the wider the benefits that can be felt, and the stronger the social solidarity in building a better world. (Dompet Dhuafa)
