CIANJUR, WEST JAVA – Four months have passed, the earthquake that ravaged Cianjur, the emergency response status has now changed to a recovery emergency transition period. However, Dompet Dhuafa is always committed to helping handle the recovery of survivors in Cianjur, one of which is Dompet Dhuafa continues to distribute School Kit packages for the affected children.
Establishing a Synergy of Goodness with Digital Wallet Corporation, Dompet Dhuafa distributed dozens of School Kit packages for students of MI Al-Islamiyah, Kampung Buniaga, Ciherang, Pacet District, Cianjur Regency, on Tuesday (28/2/2023). The distributed School Kit packages were in the form of bags, shoes, books, and stationery.
Director and Executive Vice President of Digital Wallet Corporation, Alex Milan, said that his party immediately raised donations after the news of the Cianjur Earthquake appeared to the public. He also added that the donations obtained came from users of the no. 1 remittance application service in Japan.

Nisa also explained the current condition of MI Al-Islamiyah after the earthquake that occurred, the classrooms that were usually occupied by students suffered quite severe damage, besides, many school equipment was buried, and even their report cards also disappeared. So the process of teaching and learning activities is carried out in a makeshift tent, with uncomfortable conditions and limited school equipment, but the enthusiasm of the students beats the situation.

When the distribution was carried out, the joy of the children began to be depicted. The drizzle began to sound, with a trembling voice, Aminesia, one of the benefit recipients expressed her gratitude with emotion. She was both happy and moved to get the School Kit package from Dompet Dhuafa.
“I feel happy and moved because of the aid. All the goods were buried in the earthquake. At that time, when there was an earthquake, I was shocked and afraid. May Allah always bless and always be healthy, good luck. Thank you for Dompet Dhuafa and Digital Wallet,” said Aminesia with teary eyes.
