PARUNG, West Java: Dompet Dhuafa, together with the Community Empowerment Institute (LPM), distributed fidyah offerings from Shopee user partners on Jl. Setapak, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Friday (25/11/2022).
Shopee now, together with Dompet Dhuafa, provides several features to make it easier for users, such as giving alms and donating to pay fidyah. As was done last Friday, Dompet Dhuafa distributed the Fidyah program in rice packages to 78 heads of households (KK). LPM Dompet Dhuafa distributed a total of 78 packets of rice.
The rice packages distributed are the result of donations collected by Shopee customers. This kind of kindness comes from the partnership between Shopee and Dompet Dhuafa.
Various groups receive this fidyah distribution, such as the elderly, online motorcycle taxi drivers, and private workers. They are all very grateful to Dompet Dhuafa for holding this Fidyah Distribution Program.
“Thanks to Dompet Dhuafa and Shopee, hopefully, in the future, there will be more blessings,” said Mesan (35), a resident of Jl. Setapak.
Ahmad Wahyudin, as the local Qur’an teacher, is very grateful for holding this fidyah distribution.
“I thank Dompet Dhuafa very much. I hope what we have received will be a blessing for the donors and us,” said Wahyudin.
Affrizal Haffidz Dafandi, as Digital Partnership Dompet Dhuafa, in his remarks, hopes that in the future, this fidyah distribution event will not be the last event at the Nurul Falah Mosque.
“Hopefully, after this, we can assist in the form of other programs in this place,” said Affrizal.
