NORTH SUMATRA — Dompet Dhuafa Waspada and JNE Medan synergize to hold Aksi Layanan Sehat or ALS (Health Service Action) event in Jaring Halus Village, Secanggang District, Langkat Regency on Wednesday (9/8/2023).
This activity was also attended by the Head of JNE Cabang Langkat, Hari Susilo Sakti; village officials of Jaring Halus Village; doctors and medical personnel of the Secanggang Health Center. There were as many as 100 participants who participated in the Health Service Action activity, consisting of 70 elderly people and 30 adults.
This ALS activity in Jaring Halus Village is the first. Jaring Halus Village was chosen as the location of the activity because it is located far from the city center. To reach this village, the Dompet Dhuafa Waspada Team and JNE Medan, who also work with medical personnel at the Secanggang Health Center, must cross the river by boat for approximately 45 minutes.

Upon arrival at the location, the event began with remarks and directions for health checks on the village community, especially the elderly.
In this action, the Branch Head of Dompet Dhuafa Waspada, Sulaiman expressed his gratitude to village officials and the community who have supported the implementation of the Healthy Service Action there.
“Hopefully this activity is not just ceremonial, but can be used by the community to check and consult what diseases they are suffering from, because we have prepared the medicines,” he said.
Not only that, Sulaiman also asked for prayers to the community so that the synergy between JNE and Dompet Dhuafa Waspada can continue and be sustainable.

“Please pray that Dompet Dhuafa Waspada and JNE continue to work together so that similar activities can be held again that bring many benefits to the community,” he said.
The running of this activity was also highly appreciated by the Main Branch Head of JNE Medan, Fikri Al Haq Fachryana. He said that this activity was very beneficial for the community. He was also thankful that his party could be present to witness this activity directly.
He also said that this activity is one of several CSR activities in JNE Medan as well as its commitment to continue to provide benefits to the wider community. This is in accordance with JNE’s tagline: Connecting Happiness, which literally means connecting happiness.
“Alhamdulillah, today we can be here to provide benefits for the people of Jaring Halus Village. Hopefully in the future, these positive activities can continue,” he hoped.

Representing the people of Jaring Halus Village, Udin (75) who attended the ALS activity admitted that he was happy and was very helped. Udin complained about his sore leg to the doctor. By the doctor, he was given medicine to consume.
“It’s great that there is this kind of activity. There is no health center here, so as soon as I knew there would be a health check, I was excited to come. Hopefully in the future, there will be more of this free treatment. Alhamdulillah it is very useful for us, I’d like to thank Dompet Dhuafa Waspada and JNE Medan,” he said.
