BOGOR —— Dompet Dhuafa and Paragon Corp held the “Ngabuburit Bareng, Raih Berkah Ramadan” event with 50 orphans and underprivileged children at the Al-Ruhamaa’ Foundation Orphan Center in Bogor. As part of this collaboration, Dompet Dhuafa distributed school supply kits and financial aid from Paragon Corp to the orphans and underprivileged children.
Coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan 1447 H, this event served as an opportunity to strengthen the values of social compassion, empathy, and the spirit of sharing with others, especially for orphans and the underprivileged.
“Alhamdulillah, today Dompet Dhuafa and Paragon Corp are giving gifts and school supply kits to the children here. We hope that this donation from Paragon Corp will be beneficial for the children here. May the children be more enthusiastic about their studies,” said Pradila Maulia, a representative of Dompet Dhuafa’s Partnership Team, in her remarks at the Al-Ruhamaa’ Orphan Center Hall in Situgede, West Bogor, on Friday (March 6, 2026).
In addition to sharing joy, during this event, the orphans and underprivileged children were treated to a “Dongeng Ceria” storytelling session by Palupi Mutiasih. Palupi presented an interactive story about how to perform good deeds during the month of Ramadan. She told the story using ventriloquism and hand puppets as teaching tools for the children.
A smile of joy lit up Zara Qisha Efyna Gunawan’s (14) face as she received financial aid and a school kit from the charitable collaboration between Dompet Dhuafa and Paragon Corp. She said that this event was extremely beneficial for her.
“This event is really, really beneficial. I received materials that are very, very useful and can also be applied in daily life. Plus, there was a story that was truly super fun; the way it was presented was easy to understand. So, the materials are beneficial and make it easy for us to understand,” said the 9th-grade student.

He also expressed his joy after receiving a school kit containing a school bag, notebooks, pens, colored pencils, pencils, and a ruler. He said that, in addition to receiving school supplies, he was also happy to break the fast together.
“Thank you to Paragon Corp and Dompet Dhuafa, along with the teachers at Al-Ruhamaa’, for contributing to this event and for giving me a school kit that is very useful, and the activities were also very, very enjoyable,” he said.
Like Qisha, Muhammad Yusuf Darisman (14) also expressed his happiness after participating in this event. He said he felt greatly helped by the distribution of school kits and financial aid.
“I feel very happy. I learned a lot from the older sibling who read the story earlier. I also feel very grateful for the school kits; this assistance is very helpful for my studies and in achieving my dreams. “Thank you, Paragon Corp and Dompet Dhuafa, thank you very much,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Agusnizar Saleh (Gusni), Chairman of the Al-Ruhamaa’ Orphan Center Foundation, also expressed his gratitude upon seeing the joy of the orphans and underprivileged children after receiving financial aid and school kit packages. According to him, this event is a source of joy in itself for the Al-Ruhamaa’ Orphan Center Foundation.
“Today we are experiencing a special joy on this special day, Friday, and during this very special month, Ramadan. We have special guests from Dompet Dhuafa collaborating with Paragon Corp to bring joy to our orphans,” he explained.
She continued, noting that there are approximately 400 orphans and underprivileged children at the foundation. During their time there, Gusni said, they are nurtured, supported, and provided with scholarship packages from various partners and donors of the foundation.
“We nurture the orphans here, we care for them, and they are provided with scholarships from various partners and donors, one of which is also Dompet Dhuafa. So you can see how happy the children are today because they received a special meal, many gifts, and financial assistance—it’s a joy in itself,” he said.
Thanks to the school gift packages and financial aid, Gusni said, the orphans under her care were able to celebrate Eid al-Fitr with joy. On behalf of the foundation, she expressed her gratitude to Paragon Corp and Dompet Dhuafa for their charitable collaboration in bringing happiness to the orphans and the underprivileged at the Al-Ruhamaa’ Orphan Center.
