NORTH SUMATRA — Dompet Dhuafa North Sumatra Branch (Dompet Dhuafa Waspada), together with Sufina Aziz General Hospital (RSU), carried out the restoration of the Al Ikhlas Mosque on Saturday (20/3/2023). The restored part of the mosque in Bulu Cina Village, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency, is a bathroom.
Previously, the bathroom of Masjid Al Ikhlas was rarely used by worshippers because of the inadequate condition of the building. Therefore, through social funds provided by RSU Sufina Aziz to Dompet Dhuafa Waspada, the bathroom of Al Ikhlas Mosque was finally restored.
When he came directly to see the location, the Trustee of the Sufina Aziz RSU Foundation, M Sutan A Aziz F Nasution, SH, MH, MHKes, said he was happy with the restoration of the bathroom.

“Of course, we are delighted to see the results of this bathroom renovation. We also thank and appreciate Dompet Dhuafa Waspada for helping us,” he said.
Sutan also hopes restoring the mosque’s bathroom can make the community more comfortable so they can go there early until they pledge.
“Hopefully, this can be useful. It can be used by the community as well as possible,” Sutan hoped.
Further, about the restoration of this mosque, the Head of the Dompet Dhuafa Waspada Branch, Sulaiman, explained that it was appropriate for the bathroom of Masjid Al Ikhlas to be renovated.
“Taking ablution before prayer is difficult, so residents must take it home. As soon as there is a donation from Sufina Aziz General Hospital, we will completely renovate it, “explained Sulaiman.
At the location where this mosque stands, most of the people who live in the mosque environment are at a poor economic level. So, meeting the needs of the mosque is difficult.

“Now the bathroom is decent. Hopefully, it can be helpful, especially soon entering the month of Ramadan can be used for congregations, “he said.
To RSU Sufina Aziz, Sulaiman also expressed his gratitude for the cooperation and collaboration.
