TANGERANG — The excellent collaboration between Dompet Dhuafa and Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) is rolling again. After successfully renovating the MIS Nurul Falah Kampung Gaok school building through the GIIAS Edu-care program in 2022, this time GIIAS and Astra Financial again collaborated with Dompet Dhuafa as an excellent partner to renovate the MIS Nurul Falah Gelam Jaya building located on Jl KH Samaun Desa Gelam Jaya, Pasar Kemis, Tangerang, Banten.
On Saturday (15/7/2023), Dompet Dhuafa and GIIAS and Astra Financial directly reviewed the condition of MIS Nurul Falah Gelam Jaya. It can be seen clearly how the school facilities and infrastructure condition stands in an area of 2,200 square meters. The school has eight classrooms, five in good condition, while the others are damaged and very poor. Other facilities, such as libraries, School Health Unit (UKS), and others, are unavailable.
On this occasion, Dompet Dhuafa, GIIAS, and Astra Financial handed over MIS Nurul Falah Gelam Jaya school renovation assistance worth Rp200,000,000 (two hundred million rupiah). The assistance was officially handed over by Wioko as the Team Leader of Astra Financial GIIAS 2023 to the school.

Also attending this event were Ahmad Faqih Syarafaddin, General Manager of ZIS Dompet Dhuafa Association; Sri Vista Limbong, Project Director of Seven Events; Wietono Abiyoso, General Manager of Seven Events; Tati Nurhayati, Chairman of Al-Firdaus Islamic Foundation; Fika Robiatul Ifqiyah as Principal of MIS Nurul Falah Gelam Jaya, and Moh Fajeri as Madrasah Supervisor of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Office of Tangerang Regency.
In her speech, Sri Vista explained that the GIIAS Edu-care Program is one of the priority programs for GIIAS and Astra Financial. This program continues to run well thanks to GIIAS’ good partner, Dompet Dhuafa, who always assists in finding schools that need support. This collaboration has been running since 2018. This collaboration means it has been six years since Dompet Dhuafa and GIIAS, and Astra Financial ran this program.
“For us, these children are future leaders of the nation, so we feel that we must pay attention to them and give them support,” he said.
In this Edu-care Program, Dompet Dhuafa, GIIAS, and Astra Financial will support students and teachers at MIS Nurul Falah Gelam Jaya by renovating the school building. Among them are three study rooms and a school toilet room.

“We hope that with the completion of the school renovation, students and teachers, as well as parents, will be more enthusiastic and pay more attention to the education of the children of Gelam Jaya Village,” he continued.
Meanwhile, Wioko added that this program is a social program in line with Astra’s values contained in Catur Dharma Astra. The first dharma is to want to be a property beneficial to the nation and state. This program is a tangible form of Astra’s concern for education which is implemented in the form of renovation of school buildings.
“We see this as very important as providing access to education, more importantly also access to decent and good education. We hope that after the renovation, teaching and learning activities will be more active, and children will be more active, as well as teachers and guardians. So that in the future, the dreams of the younger siblings expressed earlier can be realized, “he added.
