Dompet Dhuafa Distributes 14,000 Packages of Hot Meals for Suhoor and Iftar for Residents in Gaza

NORTH GAZA, PALESTINE — Ramadan is a joyful moment for Muslims all over the world. This is especially true for the survivors of the Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip, Palestine. Despite the damaged urban buildings and the loss of their homes, the people of Gaza continue to observe the fast with solemnity.

In order to provide support for the people of Gaza this Ramadan, Dompet Dhuafa is again distributing aid in the form of warm meals in the Suhoor and Iftar Program, which has been running for seven days in North Gaza and Gaza City.

Dompet Dhuafa distributed food starting on the first day of Ramadan on Saturday (03/01/2025). A total of 2000 servings per day for suhoor and iftar. As of March 7, 2025, 14,000 servings of hot food aid had been distributed.

Previously, Dompet Dhuafa also distributed assistance in the form of 2000 Ramadan parcels containing basic food items. The packages contain 30 basic items to help families in the Gaza Strip in their daily lives during the month of Ramadan.
