MALAYSIA -— The Disaster Management Center (DMC) of Dompet Dhuafa distributed aid to Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) affected by floods in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.
The aid, consisting of hygiene supplies and cooking utensils, was distributed through the Indonesian Muslim Community Communication Forum (Forkommi) at the Palong 7 and 8 evacuation sites on Thursday (10/16/2025).
“We are deeply concerned about the floods that have occurred in Negeri Sembilan, including our fellow migrant workers. Alhamdulillah, thanks to coordination with the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur and the assistance of our colleagues at Forkommi, the aid was successfully distributed,” said Eka Suwandi, Head of the Emergency Response Division at DMC Dompet Dhuafa.

A total of 43 Indonesian migrant workers benefited from this assistance.
“On behalf of PMI Palong 7 and 8, I would like to thank Dompet Dhuafa for the assistance that has been provided, which is very beneficial and has eased their burden,” said Hafsah from Forkommi Malaysia.
