Dompet Dhuafa Distributes Waqf Wells for Residents of Beganjing, Blora

BLORA, CENTRAL JAVA -— Kindness flows endlessly, like water. Acts of kindness can continue to spread and bring benefits, just as water finds its way even when blocked by rocks or soil. Similarly, kindness will find its path, even in the face of challenges.

Like the well endowment that has been successfully built for the community of Beganjing Village, Japah Sub-district, Blora Regency, on Tuesday (May 27, 2025). The frequent droughts in Blora posed a unique challenge, but thanks to the collaboration between the Central Java branch of Bank Indonesia and Dompet Dhuafa, the well endowment now serves as a source of clean water for the surrounding community.

Expressions of gratitude also came from Awang, one of the residents who directly felt the benefits of the well endowment, which was the result of a joint campaign conducted through the digital platform digital.dompetdhuafa.org, as part of the Central Java Rural Well Endowment Program, which was officially launched during Ramadan 1446 H alongside the Deputy Governor of Central Java at the Bank Indonesia Central Java Auditorium.

“We are deeply grateful for the attention from Bank Indonesia and Dompet Dhuafa. This well is not just a temporary benefit, but will continue to provide benefits for future generations,” said Awang.
