PURWOKERTO, CENTRAL JAVA —-— Through the Jejaring Sehat Indonesia (JSI) program, Dompet Dhuafa Central Java’s Free Health Services (LKC) has expanded its health service network to five regencies in the Greater Banyumas region. These regencies include Banyumas, Purbalingga, Banjarnegara, Cilacap, and Kebumen.
This network expansion was realized through a socialization event for the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) held in Baturraden on Sunday (April 19, 2026). The event was attended by JSI partners who have been actively involved in ambulance services and community health advocacy.
JSI itself is an initiative of LKC Dompet Dhuafa that has been running since 2023 as an effort to expand access to free, collaboration-based health services. This program focuses on providing ambulance services, training health volunteers, and holistic health care, particularly for the underprivileged.
To date, JSI has expanded to 13 provinces in Indonesia, involving various local partners to ensure the availability of fast, accurate, and affordable healthcare services. In Central Java alone, there are 30 JSI partners spread across all regencies and cities, grouped into three service coordination regions: Kedu Raya, Banyumas Raya, and Pantura.

Agung Dwi Fahma Rizqi, Head of Health Emergency Response (RDK) Advocacy and Health Insurance at LKC Dompet Dhuafa Central Java, stated that the need for ambulance services is currently on the rise, particularly for underprivileged patients with chronic conditions requiring ongoing care.
“The demand for ambulance services, particularly for underprivileged patients with chronic conditions, is quite high and widespread across various regions. Through the strengthening of the Indonesian Health Network, we hope this service can effectively reach more beneficiaries without being hindered by fleet or operational limitations,” he said.
Andayati, a representative of JSI’s partner organization Gumelar Peduli Ummat, also expressed appreciation for the established partnership. She noted that this program not only expands the reach of services but also enhances the capacity of volunteers in the field.
“We are grateful for this partnership. Through JSI, we receive support as well as capacity-building for the volunteers serving in the field,” she explained.

Through the synergy that has been established, LKC Dompet Dhuafa Central Java is optimistic that it can continue to improve the quality and reach of healthcare services, particularly in the Central Java region. The hope is that this program will strengthen the role of volunteers and partners in providing optimal services to those in need.
The Head of LKC Dompet Dhuafa Central Java, Titi Ngudiati, emphasized that collaboration is the key to expanding the benefits of healthcare services for the underprivileged.
“We are optimistic that by strengthening collaboration and synergy with various parties, healthcare services for the underprivileged can become more widespread, easily accessible, and sustainable, especially in Central Java,” she explained. (Dompet Dhuafa)
