Cipto, a representative from the Community Service Agency (LPM) Dompet Dhuafa, was present at the funeral home on Friday (August 29, 2025) at 11:30 a.m. Western Indonesian Time, before Friday prayers. During the visit, Dompet Dhuafa expressed their condolences directly to the family of the deceased and handed over cash assistance through Adam, Affan’s older brother.

“We express our deepest condolences. Affan was a hard-working young man who fought for his family. May the deceased rest in peace, and may his family be given fortitude and strength,” said Cipto, representing Dompet Dhuafa.

Affan is survived by his parents, an older brother named Adam, and a younger sister, Wulan, who is still in the first grade of junior high school. During his lifetime, he was known as a determined and responsible person. Every day, Affan worked as an ojol driver to help support his family and pay for his sister’s education.

Cipto visited Affans family to express his condolences for the tragedy that had occurred

However, Thursday night’s tragedy took away his role as the family’s breadwinner. Affan’s loss was a heavy blow to his parents and younger siblings, who depended heavily on him. Dompet Dhuafa considers this incident a harsh blow to humanity.

“This tragedy shows how important it is to uphold the values of humanity and public safety. Let’s not let any more lives be lost in this way,” added Cipto.

Dompet Dhuafa hopes that similar incidents will not occur in the future. In addition, support for the family of the deceased is expected to continue to flow, so that they do not feel alone in facing this difficult trial. (Dompet Dhuafa)
