SURABAYA, EAST JAVA — After successfully carving a record as the 1st Champion of the Central Java Sharia Economic Festival, Dompet Dhuafa again achieved achievements. This time, Dompet Dhuafa Central Java Branch made a proud achievement at the 2024 Java Sharia Economic Festival (FESyar Jawa) organized by Bank Indonesia. Through the Container Canteen Program, Mushroom Center, Melon Eduwisata, DD Farm, and UMKM Bisa! Dompet Dhuafa Central Java recorded an achievement as the best finalist for the Best ZISWAF Institution in Java.
The event, which was held in Surabaya on September 13-15, 2024, is an annual agenda of Bank Indonesia. FESyar Java is present to support the accelerated development of Islamic economics and finance through collaboration with strategic stakeholders at the regional level.
Dompet Dhuafa Central Java’s success in winning the award is a recognition of its commitment to improving the effectiveness and transparency in the management of zakat, infaq, sadaqah and waqf funds. In addition, this success is also proof of contribution to real steps to improve the welfare of the community, especially in the economic field.
The programs that brought Dompet Dhuafa Central Java to this achievement include the Container Canteen program, Mushroom Center, Melon Eduwisata, DD Farm, and UMKM Bisa!. Where the program continues to be managed and developed its benefits by the Central Java branch of Dompet Dhuafa.
