SOUTH SULAWESI — Dompet Dhuafa Sulawesi Selatan received an Award Charter from Kemenag Provinsi Sulsel, on Saturday (7/1/2023), at Balai Kartini Bantaeng.
The award obtained is as a Sharia Compliant Amil Zakat Institution or Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ) and an A-Rated LAZ (Excellent) which the Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Prov directly gives. South Sulawesi, H. Khaeroni was accompanied by the Head of TU, H. Ali Yafid.
The awarding took place in the middle of the Friendly evening event as a series of closing commemorations of the 77th Bakti Charity Day or Hari Amal Bakti (HAB) of the Ministry of Religion at the South Sulawesi level. The event was also attended by several other institutions and was officially closed by Bantaeng Deputy Regent Sahabuddin.
In his remarks, the Head of the Regional Office, Khaeroni expressed his emotion for the successful implementation of the HAB Porseni and congratulated all the institutions that received the award.
To the winners, Khaeroni said that this event was not to pursue achievements but to strengthen the ropes of silaturrahim between fellow employees of the Ministry of Religion of South Sulawesi.
“They have shown that this event is not for the pursuit of achievements, but actually, the champions are preparing themselves to be in touch,” he said.
Dompet Dhuafa Sulsel Branch Head Rahmat Hidayat HM said this award is the proof and commitment of Dompet Dhuafa Sulsel to manage ZISWAF funds by sharia and government regulations.
“Alhamdulillah, Dompet Dhuafa South Sulawesi received an Award Charter from the Ministry of Religion of South Sulawesi Province as LAZ Compliant Sharia and LAZ Rated A. This will be our spirit to continue to strive to manage people’s funds professionally,” he said.
