Dream High STIM Budi Bakti Team Makes it to the Top 30 of the 2025 National Sociopreneur Challenge

BOGOR – Exciting news came from the STIM Budi Bakti campus. A team of students calling themselves Dream High made it to the top 30 nationally in the Sociotechnopreneur Challenge 2025, a social entrepreneurship competition initiated by @goodstarter.id in collaboration with the Indonesian Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH).

The competition was participated in by hundreds of teams from across Indonesia, with the challenge of designing sustainable social business solutions based on the Business Model Canvas (BMC). The themes focused on the Hajj & Umrah ecosystem, digitalization of services, the halal industry, and renewable energy.

STIM Budi Bakti is a management-based campus under the management of Dompet Dhuafa, a leading Islamic philanthropic institution in Indonesia. As part of the ZISWAF (Zakat, Infak, Sedekah, and Wakaf) fund empowerment ecosystem, STIM Budi Bakti is here to provide quality higher education for underprivileged communities.

The campus focuses on developing outstanding human resources through affordable, inclusive, and socially impactful education. Founded in 2000, STIM Budi Bakti has graduated over 5,000 alumni, with over 500 active students currently enrolled.

The 22nd graduation ceremony was held on October 16, 2022, at Masjid Al Madinah, Parung, with approximately 52 graduates. The event highlighted accessible education, B accreditation, and flexible S-1 and D-3 programs tailored to students’ needs.

The Dream High team qualified thanks to the innovative proposal they developed with the guidance of their lecturers and the support of the campus community. One of the team members, Kikis, expressed his gratitude for this achievement.

“We are very grateful to have qualified for this stage. The support from our lecturers and friends at the campus means a lot to us. We hope to continue advancing and making STIM Budi Bakti proud on the national stage,” he said.

This success has taken the Dream High Team to the national incubation stage, where they will participate in a series of activities such as boot camps, mentoring with experts, pitching sessions, opportunities to obtain seed funding, and the chance to appear at the National Sociopreneur Expo.

The Vice Chairman III for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation at STIM Budi Bakti also commended this achievement.

“This is proof that STIM Budi Bakti students can compete nationally with ideas that are not only creative but also have a social impact. We fully support Team Dream High’s journey to the next stage.”
