JAKARTA — Ikatan Abang None Jakarta Selatan is proud to hold an external sports event called “South Basketball League 2023” entitled “South Charity” or Selatan Berbagi.
This Basketball Competition was attended by 12 Abang None teams from all regions of DKI Jakarta who competed for the South Jakarta Mayor’s Rotating Cup. This activity will occur from Saturday (26/2/2023) to Sunday (27/2/2023) at Ribens Fatmawati, South Jakarta.
This competition aimed to promote and introduce Abang None activities to the community as an attraction to increase awareness of young people to exercise and compete in a healthy, sportive, and cultural love manner.
Disaster Management Center (DMC) Dompet Dhuafa with Respons Darurat Kesehatan (RDK) Layanan Kesehatan Cuma-cuma (LKC) also enliven the basketball competition through collecting donations.
The collected donations will then be donated to DMC Dompet Dhuafa to help disaster management in Indonesia. In addition, RDK LKC Dompet Dhuafa was also present in this event to swiftly help injured or sick players.
“I am very supportive of the activities of the South Basketball League 2023. Happy competing for the participants. Hopefully, this activity will run smoothly. And always uphold sportsmanship in competing,” said Munjirin, Mayor of the South Jakarta Administrative City in a short video.

The Chairperson of the Abang None South Jakarta Committee, Bunga Aulia Nur Hikmah also explained the reason for choosing DMC Dompet Dhuafa as a Charity Partner
“Because of the former, we believe that if we mandate the donation money to DMC, it will be directly distributed. Where the DMC is a Disaster Management Center is more secure. We also plan to donate this to earthquake victims in Turkey,” explained Bunga.
“Previously, I would like to thank the DMC Dompet Dhuafa Team for participating in the South Basketball League 2023 event. Hopefully, in the future, we can establish friendship, cooperation for the next event. We can all help each other between DMC and Abang None,” added Bunga.

RDK LKC Dompet Dhuafa team when helping injured or sick players in the South Basketball event This is the first year for Abang None South Jakarta to hold a basketball event with the theme donationLeague 2023.
In this event, DMC Dompet Dhuafa can open a donation booth for participants or visitors who want to donate, specifically donations with a certain minimum amount to get merchandise according to the price.
“Alhamdulillah, I am very happy to get the mandate from Abang None South Jakarta in the South Basketball event. In this activity, the Abang None participants not only played but there was human value in it,” said Marsya Ayu as Brand Activation of DMC Dompet Dhuafa.
