JAKARTA —-— Ships from the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF), which are continuing their humanitarian mission to Gaza, have begun to be approached by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF). The Israeli Navy intercepted several vessels of the Global Sumud Flotilla 2.0 humanitarian fleet in international waters in the Mediterranean Sea on Monday (May 18, 2026) at noon local time.
Humanitarian ships carrying the Global Peace Convoy Indonesia (GPCI) delegation were also intercepted; military vessels have surrounded several humanitarian ships, including the Amanda, Barbaros, Blue Toys, and many others.

In their live broadcast, CCTV footage from the ships showed that dozens of vessels carrying humanitarian activists had been directly blocked and intercepted.
One of the GPCI delegation’s vessels, the Zefiro Boat, carried representatives from Dompet Dhuafa: Ronggo Wirasanu and Herman Budianto. The delegates were wearing life jackets, appearing prepared for the worst-case scenario.
