LAMPUNG – Dompet Dhuafa distributed zakat funds donated by PT. SAN Putra Sejahtera to 15 MSME beneficiaries at the Lintas Sumatera Rest Area, Imaduddin Mosque, Way Kerap Village, Tanggamus, on Friday (4/7/2025). The zakat funds were distributed in the form of an economic program called “Food Court Nusa Daya” by Indonesia Berdaya, a branch of Dompet Dhuafa Lampung.
This program was launched based on the economic potential of the Imaduddin Tanggamus Mosque, which serves as a rest area for people passing by to rest and relax. Every day, hundreds of road users visit this place, making it a great opportunity for the surrounding community, especially MSMEs, to start businesses and increase their income.

Indonesia Berdaya implements this program with a focus on strengthening community businesses through several program schemes, namely the provision of business support assets, provision of start-up capital, and micro renovation of business premises at the Imaduddin Mosque Rest Area, Way Kerap Village, Tanggamus.
Additionally, capacity building for beneficiaries in entrepreneurship is continuously conducted through necessary training programs, enabling them to innovate and initiate initiatives that ensure the sustainability of their businesses.

Dompet Dhuafa expresses its appreciation to PT. SAN Putra Sejahtera for the implementation of the Nusa Daya program at Tanggamus Mosque, Way Kerap, Lampung. The program is considered highly beneficial and essential for the local community in their efforts to improve family economic well-being.
“Dompet Dhuafa extends its gratitude to PT. SAN Putra Sejahtera for the Nusa Daya program at Masjid Tanggamus, Way Kerap, Lampung. We hope this program continues and expands so that more beneficiaries can benefit from it in the future,” said Wawan.

One of those who has directly benefited from the collaboration between Dompet Dhuafa and PT SAN Putra is Irawan. He said that the condition of the place where he sells goods at the Tanggamus Mosque has improved and become more comfortable for visitors since the Nusa Daya program was implemented.
“Alhamdulillah, the people of Way Kerap who are beneficiaries of the Nusa Daya program and sell goods at the Tanggamus Mosque have seen an improvement in their economy.
After being assisted by Dompet Dhuafa, it has become more pleasant and comfortable for visitors to shop here,” said Irawan, a beneficiary of the Nusa Daya program. Dompet Dhuafa emphasized that the zakat funds distributed by PT. SAN Putra Sejahtera have been utilized to drive economic growth in the community, particularly in the Way Kerap area of Lampung.
Through the utilization of these funds, it is hoped that the welfare of beneficiary families will improve. Dompet Dhuafa is also committed to continuing to make zakat a strategic instrument in creating economic justice and strengthening the social resilience of the Indonesian people. (Dompet Dhuafa)
