NORTH GAZA, PALESTINE — Dompet Dhuafa’s humanitarian ambulances continue to provide evacuation services for civilians affected by the attacks in the Gaza Strip. On Monday (May 11, 2026), Indonesian aid ambulances evacuated at least six injured victims to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City following an artillery strike that hit the Tal al-Dahab area in Beit Lahiya, Northern Gaza.

Ambulances bearing the Dompet Dhuafa logo, along with Indonesian humanitarian partners, were seen transporting victims in critical condition to medical facilities. Upon arrival at Al-Shifa Hospital, medical teams and volunteers immediately moved the victims to the intensive care unit for medical treatment.

Several victims suffered head and body injuries from shrapnel. At the hospital, a sense of panic and grief enveloped the victims’ families and residents who witnessed the evacuation. The cries of residents could be heard amidst the hustle and bustle of medical staff who continued to treat the injured victims.

The attack reportedly targeted the Tal al-Dahab area in Beit Lahiya, Northern Gaza. In addition to causing injuries to a number of residents, field reports also mentioned fatalities as well as a child who was injured due to a drone strike in the Al-Faluja area, Northern Gaza.

Amid the ongoing conflict, Dompet Dhuafa ambulances, along with medical volunteers, remain on standby to reach areas affected by the attacks. These efforts aim to help expedite the treatment of civilians amidst limited healthcare services due to the ongoing aggression in the Gaza Strip.
