BOGOR, WEST JAVA — “GREAT Edunesia” officially became one of the programs at Dompet Dhuafa’s Human Development Institute (LPI) on Thursday (7/3/2024). The launch of this program took place at the LPI Dompet Dhuafa Office, Jampang, Kemang, Bogor.

GREAT Edunesia was born from one of the Umar Usman Education Foundation programs. The foundation actively provides access to education to various levels of society, especially for those in difficult economic conditions.

The program with the tagline “Empowering Education” has a vision to create a just, civilized and prosperous society through empowering educational philanthropy.

Departing from the belief that to build a good civilization, the basis is in the field of education. Education must be able to empower and change the fate of the nation’s life.

GREAT Edunesia is committed to being a pioneer of change in building superior, adaptive, and contributive Human Resources (HR) through education.

In the future, the GREAT Edunesia program will collaborate with various stakeholders. Starting from educational institutions, communities, corporations, donors, to the government, in order to create an inclusive, impactful, and sustainable education ecosystem.

Asep Hendriyana as Chairman of the Umar Usman Education Foundation (YPPU) admitted that he was grateful and hoped that access to education in Indonesia would expand and touch various communities.

“Alhamdulillah, barakallah. Hopefully access to education in Indonesia will be of higher quality and can build civilization,” he concluded. (Dompet Dhuafa)
